I hear all sorts of stories about cheating police on their partners and lots of coppers sleeping around. And why are they constantly out partying with one another? Im asking cos it efects me and its really annoying me. I've been in the business for 30 years, and I've seen the gamet from one extreme to the other... and usually it's the younger less mature officers...one officer I worked with would sleep with anything that came along.... Just as in any profession, there are those who are 'whoredogs', both male and female...Also, traditionally it has been acceptable for younger women to date men who are considerably older; and by considerably I mean about 10 years older.

They don't discuss their jobs and internalize a lot, therefore; people assume they are dumb.

I was a police cadet/explorer for 6 years in my town.I quit over this kinda stuff..on your guard with them..job has a very high divorce rate and most of the time the police officer can get away with beating his wife or gf if he does that because if you become a victim of abuse and call the police..will NOT help you ..will do everything possible to let the cop/abuser off just because he's a cop....thats the Blue Protects Blue or Blue Wall of Silence Mentality....
During my time as a volunteer with a local pd I saw plenty of times how the cops who were married were having relationships on the side and it was completely permissable and the brass knew of it but always kept it under the rug out of fear of the PD getting bad pr...
