According to a release by the Saraland Police Department, at approximately Wednesday morning, officers were called to the residence in reference to a domestic call (nature unknown) and upon arrival, the suspect involved opened fire on responding officers striking officer Tucker in the head.
Tucker's partner, who remains unnamed, was able to pull her to safety and return gunfire, striking the suspect, 27-year-old Mathew Blake Richardson.
I think they wound up nesting in a cavity somewhere a few hundred yards south of it.
